Tiffany has just unveiled its latest high jewelry collection—“Rainbow Bird on a Rock”, once again drawing inspiration from the late designer Jean Schlumberger’s iconic 1965 creation, the “Bird on a Rock” brooch. The highlight of the new collection is its use of an even more vibrant array of colored gemstones, crafting gemstone birds as dazzling as rainbows, with a charming and playful style.

The “Rainbow Bird on a Rock” collection features 12 one-of-a-kind brooches, showcasing rare, large-carat gemstones—such as a 46-carat spessartite garnet, 47-carat black opal, 66-carat champagne zircon, 56-carat blue tourmaline, 100-carat aquamarine, 68-carat rubellite, 65-carat tanzanite, 80-carat blue zircon, and a 25-carat diamond, among others. The brilliant palette perfectly echoes the collection’s name.

The gemstone bird design remains faithful to Jean Schlumberger’s original creation, with a slightly forward-leaning posture that emphasizes the elongated tail feathers. The bird’s body is adorned with a vibrant mix of turquoise, sapphire, and amethyst, combined with white pearls and diamonds, and enhanced with colored enamel, creating a kaleidoscopic visual effect.
